Why does most shot tracking get abandoned?
Ask golfers who quit a tracker and the same answer comes back: the editing. Twenty minutes after the round moving dots around, checking every shot because one was wrong, digging the phone out on the green to mark a putt. Tracking that costs you the round is not worth the stats it produces.
So AGI Golf splits the job. The watch does the sensing, because it is already on your wrist and it can feel a swing. The scorecard photo does the score, because a card you filled in by hand is the one record you already trust. Neither needs you to touch the phone between the first tee and the eighteenth green.
What does the round look like afterwards?
Open the round and each hole shows the shots as landing dots, with the distance each one traveled. The app turns those into the stats that matter: fairways, greens, putts, penalties, par saves, and how far each club in your bag really goes. Over rounds those become trends, a handicap, and the Insights screen that tells you which part of the game to work on first.
What about the shots it gets wrong?
Plainly: a new watch and a new swing take a few rounds to get to know each other. A practice swing near the ball can count; a chip that barely moves the wrist can be missed. Each one is a single tap to fix, and the app learns your swing as you go. The score is never in question, because the card sets it.
Where does the GPS come in?

What counts as automatic shot tracking?
Shots recorded without you doing anything at the moment you hit them: no button on a phone, no tag on the club, no marking the pin. AGI Golf does it from the Apple Watch on your wrist.
Do I need sensors, tags, or a rangefinder?
No. The watch is the only hardware. There is nothing to buy, attach, or replace.
How much editing is there after the round?
The score needs none, because the scorecard photo sets it. The shot map may need a tap or two on a hole where a practice swing registered. It is a fix, not a rebuild.
Can I track shots with only my iPhone?
Phone-only rounds record the score, putts, tee club, and penalties hole by hole, plus GPS distances. The automatic shot map needs the watch.
