What is on the watch?
One glance: the hole, its par, and three numbers. The middle of the green is the big one; front and back sit under it. Step to the next hole with the arrow, or start a Just Play round and the watch works out which hole you are on from where you stand. Nothing to scroll, nothing to tap between shots.
What is on the phone?
A satellite view of the hole with the distances drawn on it, so you can see the carry over the water and the shape of the green before you pick a club. It is there when you want it and in your pocket when you do not.
Why does course data matter more than the map?
A GPS number is only as good as the green it is measured to. AGI Golf keeps hole geometry and green positions for thousands of courses in the app, and the same course data carries the scorecards, pars, and stroke indexes the app scores your round with, corrected against club cards when they disagree.
Distances during the round, stats after it
