Golf Team Generator: Fair Teams by Handicap
Paste your group below, one player per line, with a handicap after each name. The generator snake-drafts the field by handicap so the two teams land as close as the math allows. Fair teams are the whole trip: if one side is clearly better on paper, the weekend is over before the first tee.

How it works
Players are ordered by handicap, then dealt in a snake: 1st and 4th to one team, 2nd and 3rd to the other, repeating down the list. It is the same trick captains use on draft night, minus the arguing. A spread within a few strokes is close enough; formats and allowances do the rest of the fairness work.
